THE Jedi story sounds very familiar ....
Jedi are encouraged to Love. But attachment is fatal to a Jedi- in fact worse than fatal, because it is other people that will die because of it. And his logic, in the Universe he has created, is impeccable. if Fear causes you to go to the Dark Side... falling in love with someone is out. Because if you don't fear to lose that person, you're not really in love. The two cannot be reconciled.
Jedi Masters teach, for one example, that love is one of the most dangerous emotions next to fear; for, in the words of Yoda,
"fear leads to anger, anger leads to hate, hate leads to suffering."
Emotions with passion = bad
Emotions with control over passion = good

The problem is not so much falling in love, but the fear of losing the object of one's affection. This plays out in Revenge of the Sith, in which Anakin turns to the dark side to prevent Padmé's death. The loss of a loved one can also cause a Jedi to turn to the dark side in anger -- as happens to Anakin after his mother's death.
The Jedi of the Prequel Era are not only forbidden to have romantic attachments; they are forbidden to have familial ones. Force-sensitive children are taken from their families at a young age and brought up in the Jedi Temple, without much or any connection with their biological relatives. They are loyal and devoted to the Jedi Order because they have no other family.
Obi-wan Kenobi said,
"The Force is what gives a Jedi his power. It's an energy field created by all living things. It surrounds us and penetrates us. It binds the galaxy together."
three kinds of skills: to control, to sense, and to alter.
Controlling allows a Jedi his or her own inner Force. With this skill the Jedi learns to master thoughts, feelings, and actions.
Sensing helps the Jedi become aware of the Force in things beyond and outside of himself or herself, and by extension feel the bonds that connect all things.
Altering allows a Jedi to change the distribution and nature of the Force in order to create illusions, move objects, and change perceptions.
YODA tells Luke that wars do not make one great because Luke has the wrong idea about fighting, just like Peter had when he cut off the High-Priest's servant's ear - John 18:10
Everything that YODA tells Luke about the "Force" and how to learn to use it is perfectly correct.
YODA tells him that he must UNLEARN what the world has taught him and that we are really "Luminous Beings" ("Beings of Light" messengers) and NOT crude human-matter
John 3:5 & 6; Matt. 22: 30
Luke says he doesn't believe it and YODA tells him that that is why he fails
Matt. 17:19-20---13:58
Luke still doesn't understand about the human physical body and the soul because he wants to save Vader's human-life and Vader tells him that Luke's Love and actions causing Vader to turn from evil to good and give his life for others has saved him and earned him his right to become a "Being of Light" again (messengers) and then O.B.1; YODA and Vader (Anakin Skywalker) are all shown as messengers.
“Death is a natural part of life. Rejoice for those around you who transform into the Force. Mourn them do not. Miss them do not. Attachment leads to jealously. The shadow of greed, that is.” Yoda
Fear is the path to the Dark Side. Fear leads to anger, anger leads to hate; hate leads to suffering. I sense much fear in you. --- Yoda
